  1. Dear FightCoach, could you please help me with a question? I have been doing my switch kick like this in my Muay Thai class but my teacher says this is incorrect, and that i 'hop' too much when switching my legs, thus losing power….but I believed I was doing it correctly, according to this video that you posted. I am so confused! Is it because my instructor is not Thai and is maybe doing it in a more western style? He says I should 'scoot' as opposed to 'hop', but this is very uncomfortable for me because it causes my muscles in my legs to tense up too much. I feel too stiff! Please help!
